Cynthia brings a wealth of experience to the real estate industry from her hospitality and health care background. Having worked in the Washington, DC and San Francisco areas, Cynthia has held sales, marketing and management positions with Doubletree Hotels and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, along with HCR ManorCare - a leading national provider of assisted living and skilled nursing services. Cynthia holds a B.A. from Elon University in North Carolina and has been a licensed Realtor since 2001.
Prior to entering the real estate profession, Mark has been involved in the hotel industry for over 25 years. After attending Indiana University, he worked at prestigious independent hotels along with affiliations such as Marriott, Doubletree and Sheraton throughout the country as a management and finance executive. Most recently he was the Director of Finance at one of California’s largest hotels – the Westin Bonaventure Hotel located in downtown Los Angeles where he was responsible for managing 20+ employees and an annual budget exceeding $60 million.
As Pasadena homeowner’s, and parents of three children, Cynthia and Mark have a significant understanding of the many public and private education choices throughout the San Gabriel Valley. They are sensitive to the needs of growing families and have an intimate knowledge of the multiple neighborhood choices and amenities throughout the area. They are passionate about representing buyers and sellers of all price ranges and are proud to have been involved in the sale of many architecturally significant homes.
Cynthia and Mark are current members of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors, Arcadia Association of Realtors and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. They volunteer their time with the PTA, CalTech Children’s Center, AYSO, Boys and Girls Club of Pasadena and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses.
